Shipping Policy
We process and ship items in 1-5 business days, depending on the product ordered.
Most of our products ship by Freight Companies which deliver orders with large, 18-wheeler trucks that are 53 feet long.
Note this question for you…
Can this size truck reach and easily exit your location?
A few of our smallest items ship by UPS Ground or USPS.
Important Notes Concerning Freight Companies
Your order will most likely be delivered by a Freight Company.
The following information is intended to familiarize you with how Freight Companies operate.
Freight Companies (General):
- They deliver curbside – at the street.
- You would need to have equipment on hand to get larger orders off the truck – tractor with forks, forklift or skid steer. Otherwise, a Liftgate Fees* may apply.
* See “Liftgate Fees” below.
Freight Companies (Delivery Options):
They deliver in 53 foot long semi-trucks.
Can a truck of this size reach and exit from your location?
If not, you have several options:
- Meet them nearby and offload onto your truck or trailer.
- Deliver it to a business address with loading docks and/or forklifts.
- Pick up at the nearest freight terminal (this could be 30-40 minutes’ drive).
Residential Delivery:
- The freight company will call you prior to delivery to set a date and delivery time window.
- They work Monday through Friday only.
- Farms and ranches are considered “Residential deliveries” per freight companies.
- Liftgate fee* (see below) will be added to all Residential deliveries.
- An adult will need to be home to inspect** and sign for the shipment.
**See “Inspection” below.
Commercial or Business Delivery:
- The freight company will just show up.
- They work Monday through Friday only.
- Farms and ranches are NOT considered businesses per freight companies.
Inspection:
- You can and should carefully inspect the shipment before you sign for it.
- If a box or container shows some external damage***, then open the box and carefully inspect its contents – top, sides and bottom.
***See “Damaged Items” below.
Damaged Items:
We would suggest that you accept items with very minimal scratches or blemishes.
If you accept an item with minor damage, any compensation for the damage would come from the freight company since they are the ones who damaged it.
For significant damage – take several pictures, note what was damaged on the waybill and refuse the shipment.
- Damaged and refused items must be return to the manufacturer before a replacement is shipped.
- This can take 7-10 days on average.
Liftgate Fees:
Liftgate fees will be added to all Residential deliveries.
Limited Access Fees:
Limited access fees will be added to any farm, ranch or school.
Important Notes Concerning Hunting Blinds with Towers:
- All elevated hunting blinds should be securely tied down.
- This is the customer’s responsibility.
- We sell tie-down kits that can be shipped to you by UPS Ground, if you do not have a local source for these.
